We thanked God that some of our old and rugged furniture was left after the flood. We still have our old wood sala set that’s why I’m planning to put an upholstery fabric such as robert allen fabric to put some new life to our worn and shaggy sala set. Ive been looking for an upholstery fabric discount store that supplies wholesale fabric upholstery.
Although there are many different colors and patterns available but I do believe that this robert allen fabric goes best with the rest of our furniture and I’m sure we will have a beautiful and long lasting furniture for many years to come. Fabric and upholstery like this are indeed useful in enhancing and embellishing our home dwelling.

I do believe that clothes that were changed every other day were more seriously contaminated with antibiotic resistant bacteria than those that were changed every day. Those clothes and uniforms like hospital nurses uniform are one of the breeding ground for potentially dangerous bacteria.
If you are going to do some test on visitors, patients, maintenance staff or anyone that’s been in a clinical area or at the hospital, you would have found microorganisms on their clothes. Its also the same with clothes that you’ve been wearing all day at home. However, if you wear disposable aprons, change your uniform each day, and use effective hand hygiene etc, it will help prevent in spreading germs, bacteria and other microorganisms.

It was like a blink of an eye were all of our things got damaged and some were even got flooded and washed out. It was like a dream that has turned into a nightmare. All of our things and personal belongings was full of mud as well as our appliances, furniture, electronics and computers. Now that all of our things and belongings got damaged from the flash flood that hit our place more than a month ago, we need to start from scratch.
Were like a newlywed couple who will start to buy new things for our house such as bed mattresses, kitchen utensils, furniture, appliances as well as entertainment systems. We are still cleaning our things which was soaked in water and mud and were still trying to save some of them hoping and trying that it could still be used.
From the first few days after flood, my daughter and I stayed at my brother in law’s house since we find it hard to sleep at our flooded house. We still have to clean and wash all those muddy things. Its just too bad that our foam mattress got rotten and damaged already. We don’t have any other choice but to throw it away.
Thanked God someone who has a generous heart gave us a memory foam mattress with complete bedding and comforter set. We just love our new foam mattress because it conforms to our body and our sleeping position as well. Hubby and I and our daughter as well are so happy now that we have a comfortable bed to sleep with.

Our church is aiming to help our youth members living in our area in providing livelihood programs and projects. Since most of them are out of school youth, we want to help them stand independently on a new options for income as we also share the Gospel and strive to be a living testimony to their families. We have been planning to teach them how to make Bead Bracelet, necklace and other accessories. Selling banana cue’s, fruit juice and street foods are also one of our plans.
We all know for many of the children especially the youth here in our place, they have no education and they have to stop schooling because of finances and the need to work. But we thank God that through our youth ministries we will able to reach out to them and teach them about the Gospel too. We encourage them to break free from their rut through tutoring, job training and the gospel of Christ.

Listening to oldies but goodies music makes you reminisce those good old memories of your youth, right? I was born in the year 1980′s and I grew up listening to those oldies goodies music. My family and I loves listening on this kind of music since we usually hear it on the FM radio. When I am having a bad day, one of the things that I usually do is to listen to those good old songs.
I prefer listening to best oldies music because it has more meaningful words in lyrics and has a soothing tune and melody. It really helps in changing my moods and I do believe that it could help us feel younger and happier as it brings back the good memories of the past back when we are still young.
There are certain songs where we can relate it in our lives when we listen to that song right? it is simply because it brings back the memories of the good old times. However, there are some oldies songs and albums that are no longer available in most record bars. We could see that most record bars only have current albums and those that were released in the past few years.
Good thing there are music stores available online where we can download oldies music. Thanks to ioldiesmusicstore.com because we can now find those best oldies songs from the 50s 60s, top 1970′s songs, in the 80s in mp3, CD, DVD, cassette tape, vinyl and jukebox music. The trend of rediscovering the long forgotten music of the golden oldies is still in fashion with love for quality music and nostalgia and since the trend has remained alive for several years now, we are assume that it will continue well into the coming years.

Now that we have transferred to our new house which was also flooded a month ago, although it was already cleaned but there are some stains left from the mud of the flood. The stains was still in our walls, doors and floors. We need a thorough cleanser for these so that it will be easily removed.
One of the hardest and toughest stain left was from our floors. It’s so hard to clean it everyday since it is made of tiles and its in white color. I think I better replace it with laminate floors since it is a stain and fade resistant. It is also extremely durable and it looks great for our hallway, dining room and other parts of our house. I do believe that laminate flooring is great for redecorating and renovating and it’s a great way of updating our home on a budget without compromising on style.

December 17, 2011 at 12:45 am. I just coudn’t forget that day where the flash flood happened to our place. It still lingers in my mind how we were able to survive the flood. I actually don’t know how to swim and I just can’t imagine myself if my family and I would have to swim and find a safe place to stay out of the flood. I could have died since I could get drowned.
Now that we are slowly recovering from the flood, some of my friends are inviting me to unwind and take some time to relax at the beach. I refuse to join them since I’m already scared about the tragedy. Maybe if its in a swimming pool with a pool heat pump then I will go with them.

Our place was severely hit and got devastated from the typhoon a month ago. Aside from the lives that was taken, all of our things, properties and belongings got damaged and we find it hard to start a journey again since we don’t have funds to buy these things. However, we were able to restore some of the things so we don’t have to buy again.
One of them is our mobile phones. It was drowned in water and it was soaked in a mud. But we washed them and let it dried up. We just need to install a cell booster to improve its signal strength as well as its battery life. It saves power as it is being used in searching for signals. We really need right now since our place doesn’t have enough signal because the tower and the line of our mobile service provider was also damaged from the flood.

Since our newly bought house got hit by flash flood which was caused by typhoon Sendong a month ago, we felt like we don’t like to live in this house anymore. The trauma from the flood still lingers in my mind and I feel afraid specially when heavy rain comes. We bought this bungalow house in a rent to own basis and were still paying this house for 10 long years. We have no other choice but to go back to this house and live here.
If we have enough budget, we are planning to renovate this house and turn it into a two story house. One of the main reason is that if ever flood happens again, we could easily go upstairs and climb on the roof. We could also carry our things as well. We always think of our safety first so making our bungalow house into a two story is must.
